I. Third-Party Sub-Processors
MinIO uses the Sub-processor’s listed below to process Customer Personal Data. Capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the same meaning as in the MinIO Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”)).
The Sub-Processors List may be updated from time to time in accordance with the DPA.
II. Data Storage Locations
Personal Data may be stored and processed in the following locations:
- United States
- European Union
- Other locations as required by Customer and agreed to in writing
- Other locations required for Customer’s access and use of the Support Services or Software
- Other locations where MinIO personnel are located and to respond to and/or resolve Customer’s support needs
III. Detail about Processing Purposes:
- Customer Support: Customer Support Services are initiated by the Customer, and Personal Data is only processed to the extent Customer explicitly elects to share such data in the course of the support case.
- SUBNET: Customer Personal Data is shared with MinIO’s SUBNET, which is hosted by a Sub-processor, as described in the Agreement (as defined in the DPA). Customer may voluntarily submit Personal Data to SUBNET.
- Provision of the Products: Provide object storage services and related technical support, maintain system security and performance monitoring, provide user authentication and access control, generate usage analytics and system logs, facilitate data backup and disaster recovery services.
